International Society for Antiviral Research Gertrude Elion Memorial Lecture Award The funds will be used for minimal administrative fees, travel and per diem for the awardee, and the award will be in the amount of $7,500 (the award will be constant, expenses for travel and per diem will vary depending on where the awardee is coming from).
American Society for Microbiology Merck Irving S Sigal Memorial Awards A cash prize of $2,500 and a commemorative piece. Award laureates and nominators are honoured guests at the ASM General Meeting awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology The Promega Biotechnology Research Award A cash prize of $5,000 (approx £2,479), a commemorative piece, and travel to the ASM General Meeting where the laureate delivers the Award Lecture. The award laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology USFCC/J. Roger Porter Award A cash prize of $2,000 (approx £992), commemorative piece, and travel to the ASM General Meeting where the award laureate delivers the USFCC/J. Roger Porter Award Lecture. The laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology The Abbott Laboratories Award in Clinical and Diagnostic Immunology A cash prize of $2,000 (approx £996), a commemorative piece and domestic travel to the ASM General Meeting where the laureate serves as the Division V Lecturer. The award laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology Dade Behring MicroScan Young Investigator Award A cash prize of $2,000 (approx £994), commemorative piece, and travel (up to $2,000 (approx £994)) to the ASM General Meeting. The award laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology The Scherago-Rubin Award A framed certificate and a cash prize of $1,500 (approx £746) to defray costs of attending the ASM General Meeting, where the laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology BD Award for Research in Clinical Microbiology A cash prize of $2,000 (approx. £995), a commemorative piece and travel to the ASM General Meeting where the laureate serves as the Division C Lecturer. The award laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology bioMérieux Sonnenwirth Award for Leadership in Clinical Microbiology A cash prize of $2,000 (approx £995), a commemorative piece and travel to the ASM General Meeting, where the laureate delivers the Sonnenwirth Award Lecture. The award laureate and nominator are honoured guests at the ASM awards banquet.
American Society for Microbiology Procter & Gamble Award in Applied and Environmental Microbiology A cash prize of $2,000 (approx £995), a commemorative piece and travel to the ASM General Meeting where the laureate delivers the Procter & Gamble Award Lecture.
