An Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge

Are your reagents valuable?

Commercial suppliers are keen to sell research reagents such as antibodies, cell lines, proteins and DNA constructs developed in University Labs and share the proceeds. From the academic researcher's perspective, using the commercial route to distribute reagents can ensure that they are readily available to other scientists whilst saving time and resources, and generating revenue.

Cambridge Enterprise works with a variety of commercial suppliers in the immunology field and has established a service to enable the licensing of research reagents to these commercial suppliers in a straightforward way.

You can submit the reagents that you wish to make available for licensing to us, we will discuss the options for commercialisation with you, negotiate terms of appropriate agreements and ensure that any royalties are collected and shared with you according to the University's revenue sharing policy.

For further information regarding this service and to submit your reagents, please visit our webpage: www.enterprise.cam.ac.uk/reagents or contact us on reagents@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or 01223 760339.
