Early Career Researchers research exchange event at the Wellcome Sanger Institute
This term, Cambridge Infectious Diseases is organising an Early Career Researchers research exchange event at the Wellcome Sanger Institute.
This will be the afternoon of Friday 23rd of February (2-6pm), and will feature:
- scientific talks by ECR researchers from the Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge
- networking coffee (including a presentation by Wellcome Connecting Science about their courses)
- visit/tour around the facilities
- drinks at the nearby pub for those who want to stay a bit longer :)
The event will focus on genomics research. If you are working on this area, we are now collecting abstracts for talks (12' talk + 3' questions).
For PIs at Sanger: it would be great if you could join us sometime during the afternoon, as this can be a great opportunity for ECRs in central Cambridge to get to meet you.
To get there, buses will be arranged going from central Cambridge according to the number of people attending. Please indicate in the registration form whether you will need transport.
REGISTRATION FORM (includes abstract submission): https://forms.gle/4SZr2SyEaUvXW7yFA Note: The event is open to all ECRs, not only to those working on genomics. Deadline for abstracts: 31 January Deadline for registration: 14 February |
