Molecular epidemiology and evolution of bacterial pathogens particularly Streptococcus pneumoniae

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

My research utilises whole genome and deep sequencing to understand pathogen evolution (within hosts and population level), population structure analysis, genetic basis of phenotypes, phylogeography, antimicrobial resistance and epidemiology.
