An Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge

What I do:

HIV assembly and replication, TRIM21-mediated antiviral immunity, SARS-CoV-2 biology, antivirals and vaccines

Research Interests:

I work on a few projects related to virus biology and pathogen-host interactions including how metabolite IP6 affects HIV assembly and replication, molecular mechanism and antiviral function of intracellular IgG receptor TRIM21 and more recently antivirals, vaccines and general biology of SARS-CoV-2. I use molecular and cell biology techniques and lots of microscopy. I'm the menager or the MRC-LMB containment lever 3 facility where we work with replicative SARS-CoV-2 and HIV.
