Biography
Bioinformatics, molecular modelling using cryoEM maps, protein mutant stability prediction and genome annotations
Research
Pandurangan's research broadly focuses on the area of bioinformatics of protein sequence, structure and function. Specific focus includes the development of new computational tools to predict protein structure and ligand-receptor interactions, interpretation of biological function by fitting, refining and validating protein atomic models into cryo electron density maps, prediction of the effects of mutations on protein stability, interaction, analysis of infectious and antimicrobial drug resistance mutations and genome sequence annotations.
