An Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge

  • I am a first year medical student looking to expand on research I conducted as an undergraduate at UCL and the Broad Institute in AMR evolution, largely considering the fitness costs of MGE carriage, and the evolutionary dynamics of these in both CRE and Staph Aureus.
  • Key Projects:
    • Fitness costs and plasmid loss rates of carbapenemase encoding plasmids in Enterobacterales. (Bhattacharyya lab, Broad Institute)
    • Dynamics of blaZ in MRSA. (Murray group, UCL)
