Dr Marta Matuszewska

I study the evolution, transmission and antimicrobial resistance of bacterial pathogens, with a particular focus on Staphylococcus aureus. My work combines population genomics, comparative genomics and epidemiological metadata to investigate host adaptation, mobile genetic elements, antimicrobial resistance and One Health transmission dynamics across humans, animals and environments.

Professor Andres Floto

Andres Floto is Professor of Respiratory Biology, based at the Victor Philip Dahdaleh Heart and Lung Research Institute, and Co-Director of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine (CCAIM), based at the Department of Applied Maths and Theoretical Physics. He currently co-leads the Cambridge Infectious Diseases Interdisciplinary Research Centre.
